use a straightening iron, and blow dry your hair.
other ideas are having your hair half up half down.
take the hair from above where your ear starts, and but it in a bun, or ponytail.
also braids.
If you want flatiron look and you don’t naturally have stick straight hair you’ll have to use a flatiron. I use the L’oreal professional grade products for thick hair and straightening on my shoulder length hair w/layers while it is damp. Blow mostly dry. Then flatiron. Be aware that the type of flatiron is KEY. If you have thick or wavy, curly hair you need HIGH heat to get the straightness you desire. I thought flatirons wouldn’t work on my hair until a stylist used a professional grade iron on my hair that went to 500 degrees. I got one for myself, and I’m happy now!
arrggg i have this same hair cut (iwant to get it cut but hten itl grow into the akward stage again.. so im lting it grow out!!) but ion or chi are greattt straighteners… (sally beayuty…!!) and u can so low piggy tails or side bangs or poofs on top!! yay
I have exact same hair as you , its realy difficult to flat-iron it to look stick straight every day cause usually it goes frizzy but to keep out frizz spray it with a heat tamer spray or anti-frizz cream and as for diff. styles, no idea, i need some too. hope i helped : P
what i do is reeeeally easy and it looks really cute
you get out of the shower with damp hair. you put like moose or like styling gel in it (alot) and then twist it into two or three tight buns. blow dry the buns, and leave them in for a while. when you take them out, you’ll have really pretty waves. it takes like no time!

I think layered medium length hair looks best when you blow dry it with use a good round brush to style it to the outside. I really like how it looks!
